Joe Harrison
Owner / Marketing Consultant
I have spent my entire career in the print industry from running the presses to training college students. I joined American Speedy Printing in 1987 as their first press operator and quickly moved up the ranks by being mentored by our previous owner and mother Josephine Harrison. Today I enjoy making sure our clients have the high quality work they desire, delivered when they need it. I am a Certified Marketing Specialist, Creative Central and Marketing Central Certified with the Allegra University. Outside of office hours I enjoy time with family and friends, coaching children’s sports teams, teaching in faith classes at church, and travelling. I have also been known to make an attempt at golfing on occasion.
Joe and Josephine Harrison
Co-Founders
Joe, along with his beloved wife Josephine, have been partners for more than 20 years. Joe had worked for the City of Chicago in the public works department as a civil engineer for over 33years. Josephine had worked for Look Magazine. Josephine continued her strong work ethic and started her own preschool program and taught pre-school children at the Oak Park YMCA. Their success has been based on old fashioned values – integrity, strong work ethic, treating each client fairly and with respect and empowering their employees. Joe is the current owner of American Speedy Printing. Josephine, the original founder of American Speedy Printing, unfortunately is no longer with us on this wonderful journey she has set this business on. She had passed away from breast cancer and has left her wonderful impression on the current staff in her replacement.
